SUJITA BASNET, MISS NEPAL USA 2011 TO APPEAR AT RIDGEWOOD
New York- Ridgewood Nepalese Society (RNS) is proud to present internationally known Sujita Basnet, Miss Nepal USA 2011 in Dashain Cultural Program for fundraising charity on October 2, 2011 at 8:00 pm.

The program will be held at Paradise Banquet Hall, 16-16 George St., Ridgewood, NY 11385.

Sujita Basnet has made a new history by becoming the first Miss Nepal USA. Born and mostly raised in the USA Ms. Basnet has shown significant interest in her Nepali culture. Along with her study in Biomedical Engineering at George Washington University Ms. Basnet spends her time volunteering in communities and dancing. Being a leading promoter of fundraising in the announced program Ms. Basnet hopes to collect a significant amount to meet the immediate goal of RN Society.

Ridgewood Nepalese Society, a not-for-profit organization located in Ridgewood area of New York City is actively working for building Durga Temple and Nepalese Cultural Center (DTNCC) especially from last year when it organized Mahapuran, a weeklong reading of Hindu philosophical stories by pundit and fundraising charities. The announced program is another effort to promote the fund in addition to the celebration of Dashain, one of the greatest festivals of Hindu Nepalese in a year.

There is nominal ticket rate for entrance that includes delicious Nepalese food for dinner and attractive cultural programs, and DJ. All the patrons of cultural program, well-wisher and donors are welcome in the program.
