How come Himali Swar Haru selected for Adhikaar's Award. What has he done for the Nepali Women's Rights and Social Justice in NY? What is the meaning of "ADHIKAAR"? There are a lot of Nepali Women & Men voluntarily working for the Nepali Society in NY more than Himali Swar Haru. Please give me one example that Himali Swar worked for the poor and needy nepali people in NY.

I went for this program,o my god , I noticed that the staff, especially Luna Ranjit is a biased person. She doesn't even know who should be given the awards to, doesn't even know how to respect the Nepali elderly people. She is so selfish, she uses the nepali poor women to enhance her popularity.

Adhikaar looks like a profit organization organization which only knows how to ask money from others. But does nothing for the Nepalese society.They use the money to buy for them fashionable clothes. The Youth group's girl whatever her name is, the skinny one needs to learn how to talk in a Nepalese based organization. It looks more like a fashionable show than a Nepalese organization show. Adhikaar is a shame to Nepalese community.

What is chintana chettri is doing in adhikaar she is so self concited and selfish does she even know what adhikaar is about?

i went to this event....i enjoyed and loved it and it was encouraging to see nepali people coming together....i wish there could be more organization like adhikaar helping those whose voices are unheard.
