ANA welcomes any and all community institutions and individuals to join hands on the national platform that includes and collaborates with all community organizations and individuals in partnership basis with shared objectives and common goals for the betterment of our community. We are here to serve, and therefore, always ready to discuss and collaborate w! ith any community organizations for partnership. We cherish the leadership, diversity, collaborative measures and methods, and willingness to adapt as the core values of this platform.

In that effort for last few months ANA- NRN Unity Collaboration Team was discussing with the defunct NAC and newly created NRNA- NCC USA for possible collaborations and cooperation to represent US interest of Non Resident Nepalis issues in the international forums. However our efforts for one unified committee with equal partnership were rejected outright ! by the response of NRNA-NCC of USA on April 3, 2010. Due to this reason, we regret to inform fellow Nepalis in Americas and friends that ANA is no longer associated with NRNA-NCC of USA in any capacity. An official notice has been sent to that effect.

ANA is the national organization representing the interest of Nepalis, Non Resident Nepalis, Nepali Americans, and Friends living in North America since last 27 years and will continue to serve in the days to come with expanded reach and effective ways to be inclusive and fully representative.

ANA welcomes anyone that will work for the benefit of the community and has this platform of national superhighway open for any and all to use.

Overview of ANA
ANA is the national community leadership team of Nepalis in the Americas. It welcomes anyone to its platform. It has autonomous functional programs led by the experts in the fields to provide services, coordinate, and advance causes. Functional programs include Academy of Nepali Literature, Emergency Help Fund, Media Club, Nepali Scholarship, ANA Youth (ANYA), Culture Preservation and Promotion, Public Affairs and Advocacy, Non Resident Nepalis (NRNs) Issues, Special Projects, Nepal Promotion and more. ANA is an organization of the people of Nepali origin in the Americas and friends of Nepal. ANA was founded on July 1983 in New York and incorporated in Washington DC in 1983 as a non-profit tax-exempt organization.
