Nepalese Students Participated at the First Glocal Harlem Science Yatra/Parade 2009 PDF Print E-mail

New York- There were more than 300 Harlem Children Society Students who come from more than 150 high schools around the city at the First Glocal Harlem Science Yatra/Parade 2009 and Sixth Harlem Science Street Fair.

Nepalese Dancers carrying Nepali Flag were also among them. Priyanka Thapa and her friend Salina Shrestha participated at the parade and perfomed a Nepali dance.

The parade started in 112th street and ended in 125th street in front of the New York State Building.

Nepalese dancers opened up the show with a beautiful dance. The crowd cheered and was a big hit. NYPD Bagpiper team led the Parade at 12 PM. Read more and view more photos
